PCIe x16 half length??

Can there be a half length PCIe x 16 slot.
I have the motherboard in which the slot is PCIe x16 but i feel like its half length and normal cards wont fit in there . whats the length of standard PCIe x16 ?

it looks to me like a normal length PCIe slot.

if it really is a x16 slot you can put whatever card you like in it, as long as the card fits inside your case (like hdd cages are not blocking it etc)

You sure ? And would the Lenovo motherboard support any GPU? And can i use the R7 250x and R7 260x maybe? I have 400W PSU.

The longer black one is the full length X16 slot, the smaller one is X1 slot, and the white ones are PCI slots.
Any GPU will be supported.
What exact PSU do you have?

Im not sure about PSU i guess its not from a trusted brand.
It has PCIe power connector but there are only 5 pins in it. 2nd pin from 1st row is missing . i have no idea what does it mean.

Post a photo. You could be looking at the wrong connector.

Sorry for being late but here it is. Three black wires in lower row . but only two yellow in upper row. mid yellow is missing .

yeah, i've seen connectors like that before, while not ideal it shouldn't matter too much. And at least the 2 yellow wires seem to be slightly thicker so it should handle a modest power draw just fine. (like a r7 260x which tops out below 100W, the pcie slot is specced to deliver up to 75W so those 2 wires can take care of the rest quite easily)
