i have a intel 102ggc2 mobo in which the specification says pcie x16 slot?

What does the x 16 mean?


is it pcie 1.0 or pcie 2.0?

i have a pcie 2.1 card and one pcie 2.0 card. Will they work on my mobo?

It appears your board is PCI-Express 1.0a compliant. One or both of your cards may have backwards compatibility so PCIe 1.0 (pretty likely actually) but, it won't be optimal. That board is one of the first to support PCIe at all so it may be time to look into a new one...
