PCIe3.0 card in PCIe2.0 slot

I have motherboard: http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_775/P5KPLCM/
Have upgraded graphics card to: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2941934
If I up the overclocking features on it much the screen wiggs out and have to restart computer. Will upgrading motherboard which means I have to upgrade everthing else (Memory, CPU) allow me to get more out of the card?
I play Farming Simulator 2011 and soon to be FS2013. Which allows you to download other equipment that others have made. More equipment, more virtual mem needed.

It's not the pcie slot, if you overclock too much the card, like the core or memory that could happen easily.
It's a low end card, i don't think it has much room to oc.

Yes, PCI-E 3.0 cards are backward compatible with PCI-E 2.0 slots. I have a HD7950 which is a 3.0 card in a 2.0 and I have no problems what so ever using it.

yup right i'm too using hd7750 in 2.0 slot and if ur planning to buy a gt640 then better to go for hd7750.

The card comes listed as overclocked. Can't seem to find what the default setting is on speed and such. I've done burn in test and such with programs that come with card. Temp doesn't raise much with the double fans on the card.
