PCIEX 16's problem

Hi, this week I have bought a second MSI GEFORCE GTX 1070 8g oc SLI both the same. Now the problem that is occurring is when I try to put my card in the PCIEX 16 slot under the processor like the people helping me ask, it just won't boot. Is there anyway to enable the PCIEX 16 slot under the processor with UEFI?

I have tried to loosen the screw of my motherboard, it was tight. Do you think it can be partially broken from this?

I don't think the screws are a problem. When you boot with 2 graphics cards are they mounted in x16 slot 1 and x16 slot 3?

The problem is it don't boot when I insert a card into slot 1 but it work in any other. So I was wondering if there was bios setting to unlock it. It is maybe defective.

I use the slots 2 and 4 and both are working and all my 4 slots are pciex 16.

There is nothing in the BIOS to lock or unlock the first x16 slot. Is there any dirt in the first x16 slot that may be preventing a proper connection with the video card?

I have try cleaning it, nothing have changed but found out the card can't be move in any other slot instead but the first one plus it don't work so cards are loose in the first one except where it locks. So I believe it is a factory malfunction and I never saw because I didn't plugged any card into it.

So are you saying there is something wrong with the new video card you bought?

I will order a new motherboard. That's sad because I wanted to upgrade my processor generation but I can't afford to spend too much right now.

Your description sounds like the problem is with your video card, not the motherboard.

Both video card are working perfectly.
