Question GPU working in PCIEX4 but not PCIEX16?

My specs are below:

- Intel 17-2600 3.4Ghz LGA1155 CPU
- Gigabyte Z684-D3-B3 LGA1155 Motherboard
- 2x G- Skill F3-12800CL9D-8GbXL 8GB Kit DDR3, 1600Mhz RAM
- Gigabyte Eagle OC 8 GB RTX 3050
-PSU : Silverstone 750 watt strider good series

I have a bit of a weird issue. When I try plugging my RTX 3050 into PCIEX16 port it errors with long beep + 2 short beeps, and when I plug it into the PCIEX4 port it works fine.

I then tested my older 1050 TI graphics card on the PCIEX16 and it worked.

Yes that’s the correct motherboard and PSU that you attached.

My BIOS I have never updated so it’s whatever version that it came with.
