My build says "The video card PCIe 16-pin power connector adapter is being supplied by three 6+2-pin power connectors. Please ensure that the three 6+2-pin power connectors are not daisy-chained and do not share the same power cable."

It's more of a precaution due to getting an RTX 4090. So instead of using two cables, which comes out to 4 6+2 pin connectors total, they're saying you should use three separate cables instead.

If you don't want to deal with the connector/converter though, I would say swap out the PSU for either an ATX 3.0 one or one from a company that provides a PCIe conversion cable for their power supplies. For example, Corsair provides one for their power supplies and something like https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Accessories-|-Parts/PC-Components/Power-Supplies/600W-PCIe-5-0-12VHPWR-Type-4-PSU-Power-Cable/p/CP-8920284 is good for an RTX 4090.
