[SOLVED] PDF editors

Is there really not a single free pdf editor? i littely just need to delete one number off of a PDF and everything wants to charge me money to do it and im getting pretty pissed, does anyone know of a safe/free pdf editing software?

i'm sure one of these will let you make such a minute change. or grab a free trial for one of the paid ones. either way tends to work out fine for a single use.

not to mention word is now capable of editing pdf's as well.

In many cases, PDF files are just a picture dressed as a PDF, so even with the right tool, you can't just change a letter or a word. OTOH, there are really cheap PDF editors doing the basic jobs.

that depends on how the pdf was made but it is certainly not false info

i've used word more than once myself to open, edit and then resave basic pdf's. but normally it's one i made myself in word so that's kinda cheating
