PDF tires to open in TextPad instead of adobe reader.

Hello,
I'm new to Windows 7 and I'm trying to open a pdf, but it keeps trying to open it in TextPad. How can I open it in Adobe?

right click on the file you want to open and click open with,then click choose Default program and click browse,then direct it to to your pdf program exe (whatever you use to open your pdf files) adobe,foxit,etc.......and make sure that the little box is checked always use the selected program to open this kind of file
