PDF writing

Hi. It used to be easy in MS word to save as PDF. This is now changed. I have looked online for free PDF writers but as soon as you go to download the document there is a charge. is there a...
A) Free PDF converter on line or doenloadable as an application or
B) Can I get a converter from Adobae at a lower cost for a home user.

It is trivially done in Office Pro 2019 and Office 365.

I got a wone off download for both 2019 and 2021 as apps on my windows PC. This is home addition not pro.

It still should do this.


It is a Print function, not a Save function.

How are you trying to invoke this, and what errors might there be?

I've been using Cute PDF (which is free) for over 20 years. It installs as printer, so you do print to a PDF file.

Ok that works fine thanks. CutePDF wants to add a footer to the file for the free version.
