k thx read it but didnt really help
i was told the pea method is a good method to go with
that article doesnt really tell me, it just tells me some good and some bad
and not a certain way to go wtih.

Is says the PEA method gives you the best overall spread - meaning the most coverage for heat dissipation.

Look at the pictures in the article. It shows where the heat is, and this is what you're looking for.

You won't get a perfect spread(unless you very very lucky). The idea is to get the paste to spread in the are where it will do the most good(dissipation) without oozing out the side.
