Anyone PLEASE give me the application for these 15067-Peerless-Transformer.
Million THANKS,

They are originally a "70 volt line" transformer for distributed sound systems. You have a huge amp in a central location and this transfo kicks up the voltage so there will be less loss along wires. then theres a transformer at the receiving end at each speaker to tap off some lower wattage for that speaker only.
anyway, they can be modified(since the wires are brought out and twisted) to act as a 500 ohm to voice coil transfo for SE 2A3 use. They are originally an"autotransformer" and the mod converts them to a normal transformer with separate windings.
Why "70 volts"? say its a 100 watt amp. At full output 100 watts, you will get 70 volts on the secondary.
I have since been corrected on this: 500 ohms is too low for 2A3 plate. The mod can be done but what tube is 500 ohms? I don't build SE amps....anyone have ideas?
