Question Pen drive 2 time formatted ? how to recover data ?

pl z give me a suggestion how i recover my pan pen drive ?

If you did full format, nothing will work,next time make sure you make a backup, those things are utterly unreliable.

Agreed, you should never rely on a pen drive for storing important data unless that same data is backed up on a more reliable storage device.

Pen drives can fail from memory corruption at any time without warning, I suspect that's what has happened to yours --- recovery not possible.

At least it may have taught you a valuable lesson about the importance of backups.

Are you saying it's a SanDisk pen drive?

They are a good brand but basically just the same as any other pen drive, nothing special about SanDisk ones. They probably last longer than cheaper ones but they will still fail eventually without warning. Just don't use a pen drive if you want reliable, long-term storage. Use optical discs or external hard drives. I've had three WD external hard drives for over 10 years and they are all still working fine.

Only time I use a pen drive is to quickly transfer some files from one PC to another ---- I never store any data on it for back up purposes, too risky.

Try Testdisk
be sure to read at least the step by step guide. If you don get anything at first then try the Deeper scan mode.

On a single USB drive, that you formatted twice?

Try Recuva, the aforementioned TestDisk, PhotoRec.
But I wouldn't hold out much hope.
