pen drive problem

I bought a new 32gb Toshiba pen drive and the pen drive is not accessible. Anytime I insert the drive it takes a while before it will appear in My Computer. When I try opening it will never open. It does not at disk management. Pls I need help to be able to use it

Hi,

just try using it on another computer. If it does not work you may have bought a faulty one. I had some flash drives with these symptoms in my company, in most cases it was a hardware problem.

Does it appear when you do these steps?

■ Press Windows key+ R
■ Enter cmd, hit Enter key
■ Enter diskpart, hit Enter key
■ Type list disk and hit Enter key
