Hi,

I have a pendrive format problem as well. I bought from China a 128Gb USB pendrive and also a 64Gb MicroSD card. Both seemed bad or "unstable": sometimes it could be "seen" by one PC or Laptop, then "disappeared" or I could see the VIDEO file (DVD ISO), but was unable to play. Windows 7 64 Ultimate offered only its "own file format: exFAT or NTFS" (and even now it does that if I would "format" from Windows). NTFS is impossible ("unable to format"), but exFAT yes, although the upper problem exists.

I found an advise here on this forum regarding "HP_USB_Disk_Storage_FormatTool" (older version). I found the latest (HP_USB_Disk_Storage_FormatTool_2.2.3.exe) here on a Russian torrent forum:

The SW is excellent. NTFS does not work as well, BUT "FAT32" yes!!!! And since I formatted with FAT32, everything works (O.K., some bigger volume movies above 2.8Gb does not "load up" on it) well. Even I could format so the 64Gb MicroSD for my smartphone and works well.
