See below.

I am sure this question has been asked before, but search did not help. I want to buy a pen scanner to scan words, sentences and paragraphs from my textbooks, so that I can easily make flash cards in my anki program. I need wifi, which many have. What I am hoping to learn here is which ones are faster at scanning text and converting it using its built in ocr? Not so interested in how many languages it will speak, etc. I can't find any info on speed from any of the websites or reviews. TIA

Looked around and what you're asking, is difficult to find. But not impossible.

The one pen scanner that i did find, with speed rating of 3000 words per minute, is; ScanMaker Air,

amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Scanmarker-Air-Pen-Scanner-Highlighter/dp/B01N07J2AE

Doesn't have wi-fi, instead connects via Bluetooth.

However, for scanning textbooks and the like, i'd suggest wand scanner instead.
E.g: Iriscan Book 5 wifi;

It has colored A4 page scan speed of 4 seconds and black&white A4 page scan speed of 3 seconds. IMO, much faster than pen scanner. Does have wi-fi but only the black colored one. Other color variants of it doesn't have wi-fi.
