Hello there.

I currently have an old Intel Pentium 4 520J in my possession which is on the socket LGA 775 and I plan to fit it into a retro system. While I do have a core 2 quad q8200, I don't know if it still works and the chip has only been tested once but I will get it tested soon.

My primary point is that I need help in looking for motherboard that supports the P4 520J (as stated above) and any help will be appreciated.

Solution

Should not really be an issue, and easy to find out by looking up the motherboard specs online. The only ones I can think of that would be an issue are some of the fastest high spec P4s that used to run hot and eat up a lot of power, the over 100 watt models.
