Is Pentium a good CPU choice for server usage? Planning to purchase and build with a Intel Pentium Gold G5400, no video card will be installed.

Build specs for instance:

Pentium Gold G5400 Dual-Core 3.7GHz (Will be using stock cooler)
ASRock - H310M-ITX/ac Mini ITX LGA1151
G.Skill - NT Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2400
Kingston - A400 240GB 2.5" SSD (Boot & Server Clients)
WD Blue 2TB x2 (RAID 1)
Cooler Master - Elite 110 Mini ITX Tower
EVGA - B3 450W 80+ Bronze Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

Price range: 650-700$

Solution

For storage and backups, that is sufficient.
For a game server...that is dictated by the specific game.

Sorry, should've mentioned. Still unsure if we're going to run game clients (minecraft, for example) but this will be mostly used for storage & backups. Running Windows 10, won't be server version.
