Pentium g2120 with GA-Z77X-UD5H

I am planning to build a new PC and have some problems here.pentium g2120 does not support PCIe 3.0.However,the motherboard stated above have this slots.I am not using any PCI cards anyway AFAIK.if this is the case,will my Mobo and Processor still *pass away* if I connect them and use them together?also please check If the combo is wrong like I choose the wrong PSU for the mobo or my mobo don't have EFI but I use too big hdd or something.i am still quite n00bish.

no because the the plug on the board uses the graphics on the CPU, which the xeon doesnt have.

I am not over clocking it,it's just cheaper,so is it ok?or the core i5 needs you to overclock or something ?

Well, it should be possible to get even cheaper Core i5s which will be just as good when you're not overclocking. But if not, the 2500k is fine. It's just odd to see it going into a board that doesn't allow overclocking.

One more question:what component is the bottleneck of my future build?i will try to upgrade or downgrade to prevent wasting of money.(does intel graphics lower the overall system performance?)

Yes I no need to buy extra OS (I got one sealed lying somewhere )and there are drivers.also it's 64 bits
