pentium g4560/4600 or A8-9600 APU?

Which of these two is more convenient? is for office use, home, watch movies, series, some light web development. the integrated graphics will be used. what do you think? Thank you

I would say the A8-9600 definitely has better graphics than the G4560. It's also cheaper than the G4600. I'd say AMD get's the win here for price/performance. I can't find a direct comparison of the graphics of the G4600 and A8-9600, but I suspect they are very close with AMD possibly winning. Btw, the G4600 has the better HD 630 graphics than the G4560's HD 610.

I would say a good SSD would help wonders for productivity. An old Core 2 Duo can seem fast for productivity if paired with an SSD.

I personally would recommend the g4600 of those cpu's, the hd 630 should be similar in speed to r7 integrated graphics, but the g4600 is a much faster cpu.

EDIT: Whoops I was looking at the a8-9800's price, its closer with the price of the 9600 being only $70

It has a passmark rating of 5342 when all threads are fully utilized.
The single thread rating is what you will mostly use is 1620.

The G4600 is a 51w processor @$ 87 also with 4 threads.
Passmark rating is 5139 with a single thread rating of 2043.
I think single thread is most important for the desktop user who does mostly one thing at a time.

Integrated graphics from either will handle desktop graphics and HD movie playback with no problem.

From a processing power point of view, there is little to choose one from the other.
Gaming on the A8 with better graphics might be better for fast action games.
OTOH, faster single thread speed is more important for most other type games

If you ever wanted to upgrade the processor, the intel option will have the higher upgrade potential.

And... I would second the suggestion that a SSD is really the key to a good desktop experience.

another query the use of memory in dual channel will be beneficial for the use of integrated graphics? 8 gb in 2x4 gb, the only thing that the motherboard is going to be itx and has 2 slots for the ram

I can agree with most everything except when you say the Intel will have the higher upgrade potential. That would ONLY apply to gaming without streaming. Any other application would do just as well or better on Ryzen.

I personally would recommend the g4600 of those cpu's, the hd 630 should be similar in speed to r7 integrated graphics, but the g4600 is a much faster cpu.
