pentium or am1 for 11 year old

I have some parts left and wanted to build for an eleven year old, what would be a better option of this 2 and why. It will go on a isk300-150.

Asus AM1I-A Mini ITX AM1 + AMD 5350 or
Asus H81I-PLUS Mini ITX LGA1150 + Pentium G3220

The pentium is the more powerful CPU but the AMD APU is more energy efficient but will not handle gaming very well.
