Hey guy’s I just want to get some feedback on windows 10, I have been very reluctant to upgrade due to the issues of the privacy leaks it had when it was first released. I actually tried the upgrade at one point and time and was often getting crashes etc. but this was way back in 2015 and I am sure that Microsoft have worked on these issues since then. My question is based on people who use this OS daily do you think the OS of win 10 stable enough at this point and time to consider upgrading to and is the performance really what they make it out to be? In your opinion if you were a pervious windows 7 user from is it really worth the upgrade? I am still trying to make my mind up I guess I need to hear more from actually people who are using it regularly as I don’t want to go ahead and upgrade again and face the issues I had a few years ago.

Solution
I have used the various Microsoft Operating Systems since the DOS 2 era and almost all of them has had problems in the beginning that took either fixes from Microsoft or the other software vendors to solve. Windows 10 is not as big a change in some ways as Vista but it still takes some getting used to. There are some older programs that do not work on Windows 10 no matter what you do, some that take some effort to get to work, and most just work.
My biggest gripe with Windows 10 is the automatic updates that will occasionally cause things to quit working until you reboot the computer. This usually only happens when the computer is left on for weeks at a time. Most of the time I don't notice any difference in operation from Windows...
The "privacy" things have also been backported into Win 8.1 and 7. No safe harbor there.
There are several tools to turn all that stuff off. Or, you can do it manually.

I use it daily, across all my systems here at the house.
And I started with the Win 10 Tech Preview literally from Day 1.

Number of OS crashes? Zero. None. Nada.
And I've used every Microsoft OS from DOS 3 onwards.

Its fine for me and you may want to shut down a bunch of unneeded services. Takes a bit more to get windows 10 to suit your taste but still good. Check out black viper's site on the services.

THIS So much agreement here...:)
Too many people freak out on the minimal OS changes.
Personally, I use applications. The OS is in the background and mostly invisible.

OH NOES...the Control Panel has changed!
Yeah well...it changed last time. And the version before that, and the version before that. And before that, it didn't exist.

Change happens. Adapt or die.

Thanks for the information.
