Hello,

I've been getting this perf. cap reasons in GPU-Z, mainly Vrel: Limited by reliability voltage.
Even when I'm running a benchmark with GPU at stock settings, I am getting this message.

When I do overclock I mainly get Vrel (Limited by reliability voltage) and Pwr: (Limited by total power limit) I don't get it...

Specs:
CPU- i5-4670k 4.2ghz
GPU- ASUS GTX 780 DCii
MB- Gigabyte UD3H-Z87
RAM- Corsair Vengeance 2x4gb 1600mhz
PSU- Seasonic 750W gold 80+

Is there a way to fix this? I'm using MSI afterburner for overclocking.

at stock settings your card should not be throttling unless it goes over 79c

overclocking or not, if your card is throttling, its either because its getting too hot, or its going past its power target %

in msi afterburner beta 18 you can adjust the power target, up to 110% on your asus dc2, and you can move the temperature priority up from 79c to whatever.

that should stop your card from throttling.

I did set my power limit over 110% such as the max temp limit up to 95C. Still the same problem.

I dont understand what you mean by the "Vrel (Limited by reliability voltage)" or the "Pwr: (Limited by total power limit)"

What core clock and memory clock are you trying to run? Whats the highest temperature you have reached on the card?

Load up unigine heaven or valley and run the benchmark, let it go to the end and close it. Then look at the msi afterburner monitor and scroll down to the core clock section and see if the line is solid, holding a constant core clock. If its not and its all jaggy then your throttling for some reason.

You can try opening up the case and "CAREFULLY" making sure the card is well seated in the pcie lane and the power pins are also properly seated.

After that i would follow the following guide and completely manually uninstall all the nvidia drivers as per the guide, one step at a time, and then reinstall the latest nvidia drivers.

If you ever had an amd video card in your system it would also be wise to follow the same guide as per amd drivers and registry edits.

Im currently at core clock 1189mhz (+150) and 6400mhz memory clock (+400). (picture shows lower as I took screenshot after 100% load).
I have no throttling at these settings. Yet if gives me Perf.cap reasons (Vrel + Pwr)??

Any settings higher than +150 core clock, GPU is starting to throttle and hold me back. Temperatures are fine.. VRM = max 78C and GPU core is max 66C degrees.
