Hello everyone
I'd like to know how to OC the fx 6300 far enough so that it remains stable for the next 2.5 to 3 years without burning out.
Which latest program's should I use and download.
Which voltages should one set.
And of course gpu and memory clock.
I have been given suggestions to use program's like gpu- z and others. I will be gaming on the latest ones. Crysis series BF 3 , 4, saints row, borderlands series, etc.
MY ENTIRE PC:
GPU: Asus AMD/ATI Radeon HD 7770 2 GB GDDR5 Graphics Card.
CPU: AMD 3.5 AM3+ FX 6-Core Edition FX-6300 (FD6300WMHKBOX) Processor.
MEMORY RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR3 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) PC RAM (CMZ8GX3M2A2400C10).
MOTHERBOARD: Asus M5A97 R2.0 32GB DDR3 AMD Motherboard.
MONITOR: iBall Sparkle 2151 21.5 inch LED Backlit LCD Monitor.
PSU: Corsair VS550 550 Watt PSU.
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1 TB Desktop Internal Hard Drive (ST1000DM003).
IOD: LG GH24NS95 DVD Burner Internal Optical Drive.
MOUSE KEYBOARD: Logitech G100s Gaming Combo USB Optical Mouse.
I also don't plan to crossfire, but I plan to buy a CPU cooler hyper 212 evo.
Any other suggestions on maxing out performance without shredding cash would also be great since I'm a newbie. Thank you and please help.
And I don't plan on using bogus programs like firewall virus protection since I'm not going to use Internet.
This will be for gaming only. And I want to overclock with the other components too.
