Perfomance issues with the i3-8100

Hi i recently upgraded my CPU from a A8-7650k to a i3-8100 and i started testing some games (far cry 3 ,aragami and fortnite) thing is i've seen benchmarks of how my pc should perform but i'm getting way worst results than those shown in the videos ( same components and games)
for example i'm barely getting 30 to 40 fps in fortinite at the lowest settings (1080p) i have to add that i'm running a single stick of 8 gbs of ddr4 i would like to know how much this affects my perfomance because i know dual channel memory runs better but i don't think it causes such an impact on my pc's results , any help is greatly apreciated

Sounds like you upgraded without doing a fresh windows install. Did You reinstall windows after you changed your motherboard CPU and,RAM?

It should be pretty straightforward if you Google it. You need to reinstall windows, otherwise all the old drivers are conflicting with the new one's. When you install new drivers make sure to get the latest ones on the manufacturers web site.
