Is "Perform. Innovate. Connect." printed on all intel boxed processors? If this motto was not printed on top of the box, does that mean it would be a fake CPU?
(Batch number and partial serial number match, though.)
Thanks again

Where did you buy this?

Just a guess, but it's feasible it's a tray CPU that was put in a counterfeit box for sale as a retail item with higher markup. In which case it would still be a legit CPU, of course. But lacking any warranty from Intel.

From a local reseller.
Isn't that regional?
Not really... in USA Microcenter and Best Buy are popular 'local resellers' but are nationwide. A true local 'reseller' might do the boxing and selling of tray CPU's just as would a foreign reseller. A Best Buy or Microcenter, though, have much bigger reputations to uphold.

Intel might have a web sight you could run the CPU's serial through to see if you have warranty protection or they want you to go to the reseller for that.
