My last build was an Antec 182 with Q6600 7 years ago, helped by comments in this forum. Its time for an upgrade and the PC will be used for Visual Studio (heavy duty multi core programming), photoshop and as well as for some light gaming. Also looking to have 2 x 4k 28" monitors in the next couple of months so would like it to handle this (not for gaming but for work).

I have no plans to overclock right now but went with the Skylake for the lower voltage and higher clock as well as the 8 threads will be enough for the programming work I do... MSI M7 I think comes with a lot I don't need but really want a solid MB with good audio and this seemed to tick the box, it also supports m.2 PCIe SSD's which is a possible for the future. Looked at others with a lower price point and they didn't seem solid enough. The case will be under my desk on the right so in view but not as a showpiece. Needs to look professional and 750D airflow fits the bill.
Suggestions welcome on all this . I can spend more, I am more than happy to spend less so putting it to you guys for a review
