Performance, GPU and MOBO GPU slot

Hello

When I plug GPU [GTX 1080TI] into mobo, will the MOBO GPU slot will act as GPU slots? Like xtra slots or Mobo GPU slot will perform like Mobo GPU even when GPU is slotted into Mobo.

When you plug the GPU into the MOBO every other slots will remain working as they should, just as well as the one you put the GPU in... Sorry i'm mistaken

If you put a PCIe GPU like the 1080 Ti into the motherboards' PCIe slot, the PCIe slot will recognize the GPU. Sometimes you have to disable the integrated GPU of your processor before you can use it though.

I hope I got the question right, as your post is really confusing...
