PErformance in SWG

Hi group,

I'm busting my a.. trying to figure out how to get more performance
out of SWG - so it could be good to hear about others expericnces
with optimizing.

It seems like I just can't get more than 29 fps - nomatter what I do,
and I can't see what else I can do to my machine - my configuration
is:

Pentium 4 3,2ghz
1GB RAM (Kingston Hyperx CL-2)
2 SATA harddisks - 10.000 rpm WD
ATI Radeon X800 256MB RAM
AOpen AX4C Max-II mainboard
d-link gigabit network adapter

My internet connection is 2mbit/s download - and 512kb/s upload


My pingtime in-game is 79 ms

Youll never get anything over 29-30 fps.
for some odd reason, SoE decided to put some coding into the game that wont
allow it to go higher than 30fps.

Been like this since beta. They probably too lazy to remove it.

Performance problems in SWG....... Welcome to the club.

I get best performance when I get disconected and I'm still wandering around.

Leads me to believe the servers are shite.
