So when BO3 first came out, I was hitting around 30fps on my 980ti no matter what the settings (high, med or low). I'm not sure if it was something I downloaded, a game or driver update but it somehow randomly fixed and I was playing on 125fps. All my games, including BO3, are installed on the same drive and my OS is on another HDD. I migrated my OS HDD to my SSD a while back but never made it the default drive. I recently changed my default drive to the SSD, with the migrated files, and for some reason my BO3 performance has gone back to 30fps even though the game is installed on another driver that I haven't touched. The newest graphics drivers and game updates have been installed on ths SSD. I went back to the old HDD and the performance went back to 125fps. The sound also seems to be a bit off, I'm not hearing a lot of sound effects and the caster voice in the background. I'm guessing it's something I downloaded on the HDD after I migrated to the SSD so it didn't get to make it on the SSD. Does anyone know what this could be? I can't think of any programmes that would dramatically change one games performance that much, all my over games are fine.

bo3 as black ops 3? I seriously had to google to find out.
I'd go back to nvidia control panel and add bo3 to the game list. I think by default it uses default panel setting and in case you adjusted something before it may have lost path to the exe file. So go back there and add it to the games list. Also set vsync while you there to adaptive for better fps frame sync.

Yeah black ops 3, I'll try that one soon. Won't vsync cap it at 60fps?
