Hello, I will try to synthetize as best as I can. All was perfect, but in an impulse I updated the Nvidia driver to the latest and restarted the PC. When it was back up, all heavier games were significantly slower and performing way below expectations, for no apparent reason. Lighter apps are still functioning normaly, as far as I can tell, and benchmarks (such as userbenchmark) shows nothing wrong.
Things I did so far and bore no fruits:
Games tested (that were performing brilliantly before the update)
My system:
GPU: gtx 1060 6Gb
RAM: 2x8Gb ddr4
CPU: i7 7700k
PSU: Corsair 650W
Obs: I didn't have any meaningful restore points. Yes, I know, I'm stupid, lesson learned.
Things I did so far and bore no fruits:
- DDU'd and tried other 7 drivers.
- Switched RAM slots and changed RAM sticks.
- Formatted (via windows restoration tool).
- Messed with energy settings.
- Verified file integrity and reinstalled said games.
- Messed with graphical configuration in said games.
