I've had this problem for a long time. I've changed most of the components of my pc and still haven't got rid of these problems.
In every game I have somewhere around 100, 100+ fps on high-ultra. But quite often I suddenly drop for a second or two to 60-70 fps and then back to normal. This happens in pretty much every game I play (deadbydaylight, cs go, rainbow six seige, beamng drive, forza horizon5, tomb raider etc. In absolutely everything it happens. I've tried pretty much every possible method starting from the settings (including on very low) I get these drops. In deadbydaylight I get a lot of lag at the beginning of the match (about 2 to 3 minutes) and the rest of the match goes smoothly. On the other hand in the rest of the games the drops are throughout the match. I've tried limiting fps to 75 or 60, no change. If I keep the games locked to 60 fps I have the same drops only they drop to 40 50 fps. I tried reinstalling windows, looked at countless tutorials but no result.
The only things I can think of that could cause these problems are either ram memory(I would upgrade to 16gb ddr4 3600mhz) or motherboard bios,(it has never been changed and the version is from 2016).
