Performance with GTX 970

Im quite unimpressed with my gtx 970 considering i tried to play minecraft with shader and am getting 30 fps, when my gtx 760 got 70 frames.

GTA V also just stutters the whole time.
any thoughts? Temps never above 65

Remove the old drivers and install the dedicated 970 drivers from nVidia website.

Also make sure you aren't using more than 3.5GB of VRAM.

500MB of video RAM on the GTX 970 are in a sticky spot where it is 8 times slower than the other 500MB of RAM. This is one of the main issues with the GTX 970.

I am playing mainly Witcher 3, once in a while GTA V and Shadow of Mordor.
The settings are in general mostly ultra @ 1920x1200, I got constant fps between 50-60 (on 60Hz monitor with VSync on).
So far so good, I must say.

I am even considering to get another GTX970 after I bought XB270HU. A single GTX970 is not enough for my 2560x1440 needs.
