Writing the community here in desperate hope that you can provide, at the least, and avenue of investigation I can pursue. Problem is as follows:

About three weeks back, I began having crippling network issues while playing Halo on my Xbox One. During most larger games, I would experience "rubber banding" or players running into walls. This would persist for ten seconds, the game would black screen and reset, then I'd have five to twenty seconds before the prices would repeat indefinitely.

I would be the only individual this would happen to in the game and voice chat would remain unaffected, only game play.

Hardware:
Asus rt-n66u Firmware 3.0.0.4.376_3861
Surfboard 6141 firmware SB_KOMODO-1.0.6.14-SCM01-NOSH
TWC broadband, 5mbps d, 1mbps u

I've experienced this problem running straight wired connection to the modem, with no router, while troubleshooting. Also see T3 timeouts on modem log. Only have one barrel connection in line coming to house. Double checked the connection there.

Any advice helps at this point. Pretty desperate.

Solution

You can view the signal levels at your modem through the GUI to find if there is a possible issue with the incoming line. Check the user manual on how to access that page.
