Question Periodic headphone crackling and sound gaps.

I am about to return my motherboard as both the connector front port of the PC and the direct connect on the back of the motherboard produce occasional crackling and sound gaps (every other day or so, but continuously for hours during those times). I have tried the following:

1.) Different headphones.
2.) Updating motherboard drivers
3.) Updating sound drivers.
4.) Reducing audio quality in sound options.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I had similar, though less severe, audio problems. Changing my CPU to %100 in windows power settings fixed it.

Thanks I tried running it and it can detect no errors, even in the middle of hearing the popping and gaps.

As an update I have replaced the motherboard..... No success
