Hello.

I guess I'll get right to it. My internet periodically disconnects for a few seconds. Maybe 3-5, then reconnects. I've no idea what is causing it.

It happens maybe every 30-60minutes or so and it's just for a brief moment. I'll get the yellow triangle thing over the Internet icon. I've tried different ethernet cables and wireless and same thing happens. Tried restarting modem multiple times and checking cable connections.

Any suggestions?

Since you get the issue on both wireless AND wired then the problem is either the router or the modem, which in your case is a joined combo device. Thus you have 2 courses of action

1) upgrade firmware (if there is even a newer version) and hope that fixes the problem (give it about 15-20%)
2) replace it, and its better to get individual modem and router then a combo device.

If you are using cable and not dsl then the most reliable inexpensive modem right now is the zoom 5341J which is $50USD.
For router that all depends on what you want to spend.
Can you tell us what model you modem and your router is.

(and if the answer is "its what the ISP gave me" then that is likely the problem because they gave you whatever garbage they could get on closeout for super cheap and then charge you a year what it would cost for actually decent hardware)
