Hey guys, I am facing the weirdest problem ever.
At random points during the week, my computer, which is directly connected to the internet through ethernet cable on RT-AC3200 Asus router just hangs. This causes the router to stop working. It displays a red light and there is no communication either to the internet or within my home network.
When the computer freezes, I have no visual on the monitor, keyboard and mouse are dead and the only thing that does respond, is pressing the power button for 5 secs to shut down and later switch on again.
As soon as I remove the ethernet cable from the router or I shut down the PC, the router starts working again.
I can't seem to see anything that will help me on the event viewer.
Can someone help me troubleshoot this?
