Permission denied hdd PLZ HELP! - enabling read-write

it's pretty simple. I accidentally changed permissions on this g drive, where we store some really important family photos. it's not my main drive.

can someone please walk me through the fix so I can access it again? we'd be so grateful!

Download and install the Take Ownership command. Instructions and download are in the link below. Once installed, go to My Pc or My Computer, right click on the drive with the photos, and select "Take Ownership". Done!

Download the reg file add it to the registry. Then right mouse on that hdd / take ownership

Looks like it works in 7 and 8. It may work for hdds I dont know
