Hi Guys,

We are group of 4 people using a fileserver in a workgroup environment. On the Fileserver I have win 10 pro and also on all other 4 PCs. Currently we all have read/write privilege. Is there any way that on the fileserver, I can change the user permission that they can read/write but can't delete the files and the folders...

Thanks for your help.

Lets assume I am one of these 4 people.

Are you trying to restrict me from deleting something I created?
Or deleting something someone else created?

It makes a large difference, both in how, and actual personal workflow.

Many more questions to possibly follow.

Yes, that is exactly what I am trying to achieve ( to restrict you in your example.).

Also, those user have the same user profile. So I don't have to edit multiple profiles. One profile modification will affect/restrict all of them. I have my own login profile.

Thanks
