permit harddrive cleaner

I'm looking for software that will clean my harddrive where no one clean see my numbers.

any Ideas?

If you want software to overwrite when you delete something, Window Washer seems to do a good job.

yeah the main reason I want it is so if I donate my Computer people can't get my Creditcard # & photos.

CCleaner (Crap Cleaner) is a great freeware program to clean browser history and temporary files.

True that does get rid of stuff, but it doesn't safely remove it. I have found Acronis Privacy Expert to be good at removing spyware/history/temp files securely as well as using government formats to wipe hard drives.

In the latest versions of CCleaner (version 1.27 or later) you do have an option to wipe/erease securly.
