Really?? Who comes up with this stuff? Nintendo's stock dropped 5% at the reveal of Wii U, Sony has publicly stated it has no intention of ramping up work on its next gen because of Wii U (not that it could if it wanted to, PS3 bled them like a pierced jugular), and Wii U is based on 3 gen old (HD4000) DX10 hardware! I've already read devs saying Wii U games will look more-or-less the same because, even though Wii U has better hardware that current gen systems, like PC, it still competes in a world where developers aim for common denominator DX9 360/PS3 hardware... If Wii U is our salvation, we're all effin' doomed...

Oh boy, another streaming service in a age where Comcast drops anyone who goes over 250GB a month. All these companies say cloud is the way to go, sadly there not the gate keepers to the internet where the cloud is. As long as companies like Comcast control the access we can rest assured physical media will always have a place. Steam has been out for a while now and pc games still sell in stores. The same will hold true for consoles, ever hear of the PS2, it’s still selling games. This so called gaming apocalypse is not coming for 20-30 years.

Also, high speed internet isn't available to everyone. Hell, I bet some rural areas in the US and Canada won't see hsi for another 10 years. I think that only about 60% of Xbox 360 owners have a Live account? Until everyone has some sort of hsi available, the cloud won't become mainstream.

cloud meh, and what kind of engine is it supposed to use? if it's flash there's no way in hell i'd sign up for it.
