Brand new build and still having kernel power issues. I just built this computer last week and have been having the KP41 error intermittently. First it was with every download, including WIN update. Got a chkdisk error while using a HDD from previous computer so got a new seagate which allowed a clean install of WIN 7 pro 32bit. I'm assuming I had some driver issues because I had AMD and Realtek HD audio drivers. Removed the realtek HD and was able to do win updates with success. I have a gigabyte mobo that came with an autogreen and usb 2.0 utility. Both of those were causing errors as well so I removed them both. This newest kernel error appeared when I was filling out an RMA for nvidia. I left the computer on that website and walked away for a phone call and upon coming back found that the computer had done an auto-restart with the KP41 error.

My Build:
Mobo: gigabyte GA-F2A88X-D3H
CPU: AMD A8-5600k w/radeon HD 6570
Ram: 4GB crucial/Balliststix DDR3 1600 sport XT (1.5v which is what it is getting according to the bios)
PSU: raidmax thunder V2 735W
Seagate HDD 500GB 7200rpm
WIN7PRO 32bit
Video card: radeon HD 6570
I just realized that the processor and the physical video are the same. In the bios it is set to automatically disable the onboard graphics and to run video through the PCI slot. Going to check this by telling it to disable the onboard video and see what happens. Any other suggestions would be welcome.
