The drives themselves read/write okay. chkdsk is clean, SMART is okay as well.
Its just that when i plug it into the PC, it takes anywhere between 0 sec to 2mins to appear ready on My Computer. The above message appears as an entry in Event Log, the only one that seems relevant to the HDD issue. Has Event ID 7011 if it helps.
New drives don't have this issue, it only starts to appear as i fill up the drive/a couple months down the line. I don't understand what it means and google only comes up with people with servers, not normal PC users with ext HDD.
I know some of you are going to say "buy a backup, and a backup's backup" but this is starting to happen to my backups and i don't have infinite funds to backup when this issue happens. I have to isolate why its doing this.
I don't even know if this is normal or i should worry, i just don't want to lose several TB of data just because of this.
