[SOLVED] Persistent ad in lower right corner in Chrome

Hello. Since yesterday i've been getting a pop up that comes back even if i close it. It's an ad to activate Norton (which i don't have) and comes from an url that i have never seen. I've googled it but nothing comes up. I have tried Malwarebytes and windows defender but nothing comes up. I have also looked to see if a have any extension that might be doing it but no success. Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thank you.

Those notifications are actually from Google Chrome, not in Windows. You would have to go into Google Chrome, in the top right corner where you see the three vertical dots, click that and choose Settings > Show Advance Settings > under "Privacy" click Content Settings > scroll down to see "Notifications" and click Manage Exceptions > here you can choose what notifications pops up. Looks like you have notifications from howtogeek.com, just look for it in the menu and block it. Additionally, if you just want to disable all of it, under "Notifications" just choose "Do not allow any site to show notifications" and click Done.

Thank you both. I juste denied permissions through chrome. I still ran adwcleaner just in case but everything was clean.
