Does anybody know what happens to your personal bless deed if your
instrument breaks. Do you lose the deed or does it just go back into
your back pack? Just curious because I am considering using mine
however if you lose it I will stick to insurance.
cheers

Long answer: PBDs do not protect against normal wear and tear on an
object, including consuming 'charges'. If a lap harp has 367 uses
when it's Blessed, it goes through those just like before until it
breaks and vanishes. The Blessing prevents the instrument from being
stolen or looted but that's all.

Short Answer: PBDs are a one-shot deal. Once you use them they go
away for good.

You lose the bless deed if your instrument breaks.

Ah, actually, you can remove and re-place a personal bless deed as
many times as you want. You can take it off the instrument when it
gets low on "uses", and put it on a new instrument, etc. etc.

I have a cloak I blessed 3-4 years ago. I just tried to take the
bless off of it and can't figure out how. Any ideas?

Curse it! Just throw it on the ground and start swearing at it! Soon the
bless deed will squirm out of the cloak and cringe in fear upon the floor.

Thanks for that it answers my question, I knew that the charges still
went down but did not know what happened when they ran out, ie. lost
the deed with the instrument. What a ah heck will have to keep insuring
can't risk losing the deed by accident far to pressure to remember to
keep checking charges and then removing and putting on a new
instrument.

Was it a PERSONAL bless deed you used, or a CLOTHING bless deed? Does
it say "Blessed for OrionCA" or just "Blessed"?

Personal bless deeds (as they exist today) certainly allow you to
remove the deed and replace it on another item, through a context
menu.

Clothing bless deeds are forever on that specific item.

I would just shoot it with a silver bolt and it would jump out.... no
need to curse....

My silver bolt is an Artifact Rarity 7: I think I'll leave the cloak
blessed, thank you.
