This will be the first time I'll be building my own computer, and I still get a bit anxious after spending a long amount of hours reading up everything I can to see what would probably work best, and whether it all fits. I am going to use this computer primarily for recording audio/gaming/streaming.

Current budget: $2000-2500 CAD/$1500-2000USD.

Currently, I'm planning to use a Anidees Mid-ATX Tower (L*W*H=527*207*509mm) to house these:
Motherboard: ASRock Z97 EXTREME4 (or GIGABYTE GA-Z97X-UD5H?)
Processor: Intel Core i5-4690k
RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury 16GB
Graphics Card: MSi TwinFrozr GTX GeForce 980 Ti
Memory: Samsung EVO 250GB SSD, Seagate Barracuda 2TB HDD
Power Supply: Corsair AX760i (or EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G2?)
Sound Card: Creative SoundBlaster ZxR
Cooling System/Fans: Corsair Cooling Hydro H60, CoolerMaster 212 EVO Heatsink, 2 fans included with the tower and +2 basic fans leftover from cannibilizing an old computer from 15 years ago. (My tower's position is in a corner out of necessity, and thus doesn't have amazing circulation.)

I do have a few questions, however:

a) Which motherboard out of the two would you recommend? I'm leaning towards the ASROCK. Is there another you would choose?

b) Are there any potential bottlenecks in my setup? Where might it be, and how serious/long will it be until I notice?

c) Is there anywhere I could cut down the price without sacrificing too much in quality?

d) Are there any parts incompatible with each other? Some parts I forgot to put in?

e) And most importantly, will it all fit?

Heres my recommendations:

built this for best quality for the money.
keep in mind that the fans i have selected are 2x120mm and 1x140mm.
the mobo i selected is a champ and has good reviews and tons of features.
i went with an 850 psu to give you more room for overclocking.
everything is compatible and will fit.
