I have an i5 6500 with a stock cooler.
I am playing PES 16 with the iGPU.
The game plays fine but after an hour or so it starts lagging(slowing down significantly),but the fps is still 60, i checked using fraps.
Could this be a heating problem?
Temps go upto 50 C when playing and CPU usage upto 80 % with the game and a couple of chrome tabs.
temps while just web browsing are around 30 C
It this normal?
I had this rig assembled. Could the guy have not fit the cooler properly?
Sorry for the noob questions, this is my first PC.

I have 8 gb of Kingston HyperX Fury(1 Stick)
600W Cooler Master B600 v2 Power Supply.
I dont have a dedicated GPU(waiting for a good deal), i use the integrated.
Its a pretty new system, 3 months old approximately.
Also one time I just let the game sit for a couple of mins while I browsed around for an explanation on the web and then when I returned the game was smooth again.
I'll try to replicate and reply here.
I must say this occurs only after an hour or so of gameplay, and this never used to happen before, it only started a couple of days back.
Also I read some reviews that this power supply just 'okay', do you know anything about it?
Thanks bdw

If you don't have the GPU then the power supply should't have problems running it because it doesn't consume much power. Does the problem happen when you have all other programs closed, the integrated graphics might use system RAM and run out of it after a while if you have other programs running in the background.

Yes, I mostly have a couple of chrome tabs open but the ram usage doesnt exceed 4-5 gb when playing.
Ill try it with no other things running and reply.
Thanks
