PG279q vs XB271HU

So here is my current rig (http://pcpartpicker.com/p/PpMQt6). It should be able to play games around 60 fps, and I probably be getting new parts for it (IE upgrade to an 3770K/3770 and maybe get a pascal if its a huge bump up (maybe even look at the 1080ti when it comes out). Also I primarily play games like Witcher 3 and Fallout 4.

I been looking at either PG279Q or XB271HU. Anything I should be concerned about when getting either one of these. I know both supposedly have QC issues (Any feedback on this?).

I'd say go for the Acer as that seems to be what most have been using without much issues. I'm not certain what you mean by QC issues as the only issues seen were due to screen tearing/stuttering due to driver issues from GPU manufacturers.

Asus on the other hand are known to have outstanding warranty support so an ROG based device should be replaced fairly quickly if there are any defects.
