I have a phanteks p400 and the case has a button to change the rgb lights in front. There is an led connector on the inside of the case. when i change the lights on the front of the case will it change the leds connected to the contector inside the case? Also do i have to use phanteks leds, or can i use other ones, if so what is a good solution udner $15?

Solution
Actually, the Phanteks LED strips DO change color with the case LED color. But it is a proprietary connector apparently, so you'll need to use the Phanteks LED strips.

Transform your Enthoo Case with Phanteks’ multicolor LED waterproof strips. Double sided 3M tape to keep the LED firm on your chassis and installaiton is easy with the plug and play connector. The LED strip allows the user to control the colors with the LED switch matching the case’s LEDs.
The LEDs inside will be whatever color you get. They will not change with the front lights. If you want to be able to change the internal LED lighting color, I'd highly recommend the NZXT Hue+. I have it, and it's features are pretty amazing. Certainly far more than 15 dollars, but well worth it.

From what I've read in reviews, unless you somehow mod something up, you'd need to use Phanteks LED strips with that control, in which case, they MAY change with the front LEDs.

there is no need to buy extra LED strips...
I got my P400 case a week ago and I was able to light up the front LED and power button LED by directly connecting them to the 12v molex (using a re-purposed case fan connector - molex). The case has its built in controller so you should be able to change colors even w/o the extra strip.

just a word of caution though, tinkering isn't for the faint-hearted.
