Hello again...........

My MB (an asus hero VII) has a 4 pin front hd audio and the case comes with a 9 pin connector.
How should i connect them? Maybe with an adaptor? Or i guess, i should connect it to the front panel connector...

Solution

The Asus Maximus VII Hero has a 9-pin AAFP header (for HD audio/AC'97 audio) for your Phanteks Evolv's 9-pin HD audio front panel plug to connect to. The header is located at the bottom left (just at the left of the black Soundstage button):

It is clearly marked in your motherboard's manual in Page 1-42 and Page 2-9, here: http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA1150/MAXIMUS-VII-HERO/E9799_MAXIMUS_VII_HERO_V2_WEB.pdf?_ga=2.57947565.627901775.1498259541-1428616915.1495995095

The only 4-pin headers in your motherboard are the fan headers.
