Was wondering if it's possible to control the case RGB from a motherboard RGB header? I bought some other phanteks rgb stuff (rgb strips and halo fan covers) and I'm planning on connecting them to my motherboard instead of the case as the built in controller has limited options, but I'd still like the case rgb to sync with the rest of the rgb. Is there a way to disconnect the case lighting from the case rgb controller?

Solution
OP here (not sure how I ended up with two accounts but it is me), from what I read this can be accomplished by disconnecting the sata power to the case controller and then disconnecting the case rgb from the case controller. There is an output cable built in so that the case can control rgb strips as well, but this apparently also works as an input for the case rgb if they are otherwise disconnected.

However, I've discovered that my motherboard actually has less options than the case controller (could have sworn it was Mystic Light compatible but I guess not) so I've not actually tested if this would work. No reason to go through the trouble of redoing all those cables just to try it.
Well the actual product page does say that the case is compatible with Asus Aura sync and MSI's rgb software. I would look at your manual, see where the header is and go from there-depending on your motherboard though you may be required to buy an adapter to hook it up.
